Community

Practical support, useful partnerships and community stories we can explain with evidence.

What community means here

Support that is useful, visible and properly explained.

Community matters across the Invictus group. This area will bring together verified programmes, partnerships and activity as they develop.

From our story

Community stories

Discover the history and ideas behind our community connections.

Connected communities

People, places and practical support.

Our role varies by project, but the contribution should always be clear, useful and evidenced.

How we may be able to help

Different projects need different kinds of support.

Support is considered individually. These are examples of the practical routes that may be available rather than a promise that every project will receive every type of help.

Sponsorship

Financial or event sponsorship where there is a clear fit, defined purpose and appropriate evidence.

Digital & hosting

Website, hosting or practical digital support where a group business is well placed to help.

Promotion

Helping suitable community work reach more people through relevant group channels or expertise.

Volunteering

Practical time and involvement where the project, timing and available people make that realistic.

Fundraising support

Practical help with an appropriate fundraising activity or campaign, subject to the project and safeguards involved.

Practical help

Other useful in-kind support where we can make a genuine contribution rather than simply attach our name.

How support works

How to ask for community support.

  1. 1

    Tell us about the project

Who you are, where you are based, who benefits, what is happening and the support you are looking for.

  2. 2

We look for the right fit

We consider the purpose, practical benefit, timing, safeguarding or risk considerations and which Invictus business may be relevant.

  3. 3

    Agree what support actually means

If we can help, the contribution should be clear rather than described by a vague sponsorship label.

  4. 4

    Record the outcome

We stay in touch to understand how the support helped and what happened next.

Who can approach us

Grassroots organisations are welcome to start the conversation.

We are interested in hearing from charities, voluntary organisations, community groups, sports clubs, schools, events and grassroots initiatives.

We normally need enough information to understand who benefits, where the work is happening, important dates, the type of support requested and what a useful outcome would look like.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee support. It gives us enough information to decide whether there is a realistic and responsible way for Invictus to contribute.

Community FAQs

Common questions before you contact us.

Does Invictus fund every community request?

No. Every request is considered individually and an enquiry does not guarantee funding, sponsorship or another form of support.

What kinds of organisations can contact you?

Charities, community groups, sports clubs, schools, events, voluntary organisations and grassroots initiatives are all welcome to tell us what they are working on.

What information should we provide?

Tell us who you are, where the project is based, who benefits, relevant dates, what support you are seeking, the expected impact and any useful website or social links.

Can support be something other than money?

Yes. Depending on the project and available expertise, support may include digital or hosting help, promotion, volunteering, practical help or another suitable in-kind contribution.

Why are some projects not shown publicly?

We share selected project stories to help visitors understand the different ways Invictus works with community organisations.
