Armed Forces Covenant

This milestone records Invictus at Home’s commitment to the Armed Forces community.

In June 2017, Invictus at Home signed the Armed Forces Covenant, adding a commitment to the Armed Forces community to its growing story.

This was about people rather than products. The Covenant recognises that those who serve, those who have served and their families should not face disadvantage because of their connection with the Armed Forces.

What does the promise mean?

Service life can bring challenges that are easy to miss from the outside. Families may move regularly, and veterans making the transition into civilian life can find themselves navigating unfamiliar situations.

The Armed Forces Covenant asks businesses and organisations to recognise that reality and support fair treatment. Signing it is a commitment to a principle; it is not, by itself, proof that every ambition has already been achieved.

For Invictus, the signing became part of the group's history at a time when the business was finding its direction and developing its place in the wider community.

A commitment that looks beyond business

A company can be measured by what it sells, but that is not the whole story. The people it chooses to support, and the commitments it makes publicly, matter too.

The Covenant signing is one of those moments for Invictus: a clear decision to recognise the Armed Forces community as part of its responsibilities.
